Young Business Men’s Club
Four addresses of practical business interest were given before an ‘•enthusiastic attendance at the Young Men’s Business Club fortnightly meeting. Mr T. Mitchell brought out some important facts in his subject, “What steps, if any, could be taken to minimise the effects of another slump?" This subject provided a popular discussion factor among members of the club, and Mr Mitchell was called upon to answer several questions on the different points he had raised A greatly-appreciated address on practical business methods war. given by Mr E. 1... G Abel* who out lined various aspects concerning success in retail shop managing. The other two addresses were by Mr A. C. Hawthorn, who spoke on advertising in business, and Mr R. J. N. Crosby, who gave some interesting facts concerning credit control.
