Abattoir Returns for June. During June, 223 head of cattle were killed at the Whangarei Borough Abattoirs. Calves killed totalled 38, sheep, 440, and pigs 94. Mr McConachy will show his skill against Mr Bakalich at billiards and against Mr M. Atkins at snooker. The exhibition will be open to the public at a very reasonable charge and those, who wish to be assured of seats should get in touch with Mr Bakalich.
