Additions To Kamo School
Advice was received through Mr J. G. Barclay today that Cabinet has approved oi a grant for the erection of two new open-air detached classrooms at Kamo School. With consolidation agreed upon, children from the Ruatangata. Matarau and Ngararatunua schools will shortly be centred at Kamo, where already over 90 children are on the roll. Portion of the old Kamo school building has stood for G 3 years, but tt is hoped that the two modern classrooms will be the nucleus of a new school.
