Kidnapper’s Story
NEW YORK, June 11. Giving his reasons for the kidnapping of the five-year-old boy, Jimmy Cash, whose body, and the money paid for his ransom, were found under a shrubbery, the accused man said: ”1 have been wanting things all my life for my wife and myself, and have been unable to get steady employment.” McCall at first attempted to implicate the child’s uncle, but Mr Hoover declared that the latter had been completely exonerated.
