Insulation of New Zealand, and the establishment of a system which would not allow of any further de- t pressions in New Zealand were good ideas, but the Labour Government representatives who had said they were possible had not yet said how they could be made effective, was the contention of the Hon. Adam Hamilton, Leader of the Opposition, during his address in the Town Hall on Saturday night. , “We have asked Mr Nash many times how he would do this, and he would not tell us,” said Mr HamiL ton. “Mr Fraser, with a greater degree of Scottish cautiousness, said that he would not cay off-hand what would be done to -give effect to the idea.” - -? . *
