Tomorrow’s Hockey
Men’s A grade hockey will be seen at Kensington Park tomorrow, when Mata meet United at 1.30 p.m. In this competition, Tauraroa has drawn a bye, Mangapai being matched against Springfield, at Mangapai. Ramblers v. Kara and Bargain Store v. Maungakaramea are men’s B competition games that will also be played at the Park 'and should provide bright hockey. Grounds at Kensington this week will show a decided improvement. Gi’ass has been, cut since last Saturday 'and the field should be condu-, cive to fast work. The executive committee of the Whangarei Hockey Association has authorised further cutting next week, and in. a fortnight the ground should be playing perfectly. At the park there will also be one ladies’ A grade match, when Kara try conclusions with Old Girls. School w'as given the bye this week, and Hora Hora will meet Whatitiri, at Whatitiri, • In ladies' B games, Maungakarame'a and Hikurangi will play at Hikurangi and Hora Hera B will contest the honours with Bargain Store at School. Otaika and Onerahi are playing at Onerahi, and School, gets the bye.
