Ruawai Course Being Extended
At the annual meeting of the Southern Wairoa Golf Club at Ruawai, the president, Mr. E. K, Hames, reported that extension of the new course to 12 holes was now well under way. The election of officers resulted: — Patron, Mr A. M. Walters; president, Mr E. K. Hames; vice-president, Mr R. Comer; club captain, Mr G. W. Foote; secretary and. treasurer, Mr D. W. Tasley; committee, Mrs A. R. Thurston, Messrs C. Jeffs, A. R. Thurston, M. B. Blakey, C. Crogson; hon. auditor, Mr A. G. Flower. There was a large attendance at the official opening of the links on Saturday.
