WANT MR. GARDNER TO STAND FOR BAY

A resolution favouring the. selection of Mr P. Gardner as candidate for the Bay of Islands seat was passed at an enthusiastic meeting of the Whakapara branch of the Natiopal: Party. : District representation was good, and i Mr H. McKellow presided. , Mr Gardner, of Glorit, who was re-' cently appointed organiser for' the. Bay of Islands electorate, in an ad- ; dress dealt trenchantly with the legis- , lation of today and its trends.
