Broadbent, proposes to fly from Darwin to England in an attempt to eclipse Miss Jean Batten’s solo flight record of five days 18 hours. Mr Broadbent will leave at the week-end for Flores Island to recover his plane, and will then return to Darwin to prepare for' his England flight.
