U.S. Indians Start SitDown Strike
NEW YORK, March 29. Two hundred Chippewah Indians, in . full regalia and warpaint, descended on the Reservation Office at Cass Lake in a manner reminiscent of the Indian - attacks in bygone years, .and 'then _ staged a sit-down strike. Braves perched on every, .movable piece of furniture as a protest against-,-; the removal of the protector’s office to * 1 Duluth, 200 miles away. They threaten not to. budge “until the 'Great Whith Father in Washington hears us.”
