Unlawfully On Licensed Premises
Found on licensed premises on the morning of Sunday, January 30, James Lee was fined £1 and costs 13/ at the Whangarei Police Court to-day. Constable R. Wilson said that, when first accosted as he left the hotel at 9.20 a.m., Lee had said that he had called to see a friend, but had later admitted his intention of trying to ’ procure liquor.
