NEW ZEALAND'S BEST TOURIST SEASON
[Special To “Northern Advocate ”1 WELLINGTON, This Day. According to the Hon. F. Langstone.
Minister-in-Charge of the Tourist Department, the present season is the best ever experienced in the Dominion. Mr Langstone stated that, not only had there been a record number of overseas visitors, but New Zealanders, as well, had travelled in large numbers to all parts of the Dominion. He said that this .was an encouraging sign in line with the Gcvernr ment policy to make the holiday resorts available for the people of the
country. He stated that thousands of visitors had spent their holidays at National Park. Lake Waikaremoana, Rotorua, the Urewera Country and Waitomo Caves, while there had been a great influx of holiday traffic to South Island resorts.
