Two-Way Freight Service Established
[Special To “Northern Advocate ”l AUCKLAND, This Day.
With the approach of Pan-American Airways Samoan Clipper on the third flight to New Zealand, a regular twoway transport service across the Pacific is becoming definitely established. Advice has been received by Mr Lewis, Pan-American airport manager in Auckland, that the Clipper is carrying “express,” which is the American term for fast freight for delivery at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Timaru, Sydney and Melbourne,
It is understood from Auckland firms that a radio set and typewriter are included in the freight. Mails for despatch by the Clipper from Auckland on Saturday are coming in, including a number of letters from Australia,
