OBITUARY
[Special To “ Northern Advocate ”] ROTORUA. This Day. The death occurred at Manurewa of the Rev. PI. Imepire te Wharekauri Munro, a prominent member of the Arawa tribe, and well known in the Rotorua district for his missionary work among the Maoris. In his early years, the late Mr. Munro was apprenticed as a wheelwright. He studied for the Holy Orders and was ordained just prior to the Great War. Pie was stationed in Rotorua and Hastings, after which he worked among the Maori people in the South Island, and later in the Far North. Mr. Munro is survived by his widow and two sons.
