The “Daily Mail” says that, since his accession, the King has given many proofs of his love for Sandringham. It is his intention to re-establish the beautiful estate in the , tradition which his father founded. Already His Majesty has restocked the farm with prize cattle, which are bred on the same scale as in the time of King George V., and he is now reopening the kennels to breed the famous Sandringham Labrador retrievers.
The King has been out shooting every day since Christmas and meeting the villagers and servants as the squire. Thus he is carrying on another tradition He is also building new workers’ cottages to commemorate the Coronation.
