Man, Found Lying On Road, Dies
[A'pecifd To “Northern Advocate”! AUCKLAND, This Day. Early cn Sunday morning, a motorist passing tlie intersection of Manukau Road and Silver Road. Newmarket, noticed a man lying on the road within a few feet of the tram tracks. A St, John Ambulance was summoned. but the man was dead on its arrival, having suffered a severe head injury, and considerable loss of blood. The victim was: Mr Robert Kerr, a miner, aged about 65. of Pukemiro. There were indications that the deceased had been lying on the road for about ten minutes before he was discovered. It is thought lie was struck by a motor car.
