KAYAK SCHOOL IN LONDON.—The Royal Canoe Club, London, has opened a kayak school at the Holborn Baths, London, where lessons are given in “rolling in a canoe” The competitor turns right over and conies up on the other side, still seated on the canoe, as shown in the illustration. A kayak as in Eskimo canoe, made of a light wooden framework covered with sealskin.
(On Right.) A MAMMOTH CHRISTMAS STOCKING. —This stocking was made at one of the largest of the many factories in London which turns out this type of Christmas toy.
