Maungaturoto Sweet Pea Show
On Friday last, the pupils of the Maungaturoto School held their sweetpea show of blooms. Mr C. A. Lindsay judged the show .and the results were as follows: Collection of mixed colours: Rae Stewart, 93 marks, 1; Heather Jackman, 87 marks, 2; Aestella Petrie, 85 marks, 3. Best vase of any one colour; Noel Judd, 90, 1; Jeanne McMillan, 89, 2; Aestella Petrie and Heather Jackman, 88, equal, 3. Champion bloom: Rae Stewart, 96, 1; Jeanne McMillan, 95, 2; Heather Jackman; 90. 3.
