NORTHLAND TRIBE
Hello Everybody—-

Have you got that “holiday-is~comirig-soon” feeling yet? I know I have and I rather think Kupe has too. Not that we’ve much time to think about holidays at present. Just-hefore-Xmas is such a busy tame. But the thought will pop up, won’t it, no matter how hard-working we are. And have you noticed all the Xmassy signs about? The shops are full of them, but isn’t it hard to choose what to buy? I love buying Xmas presents, but I do with there was a magic way of knowing just the right gift for each person. Even the Cookery Nook has; gone Xmassy. And that reminds me—-I wonder if 1 should look up a very good recipe for soothing syrup for people-who-cat-Joo-much-at-Xmas? 1 have a suspicion that one person at least at Headquarters will need some. Naming no names, of course ! Three more weeks to school break-up, eh Northlanders? I hope you’ll find time in the holidays to rend us lots of contributions, especially for this week’s extra competition. We want a particularly large stock of stories for early next year. But we’ll tell you more of that later. Cheerio till next week.
Princess, Northland Tribe,
