Billiards Ltd. Cup For Snooker Championship
Under the direction of the Auckland Billiards Association, the amateur snooker championship of Northland will be held: in Everett’s billiard room, Whangarei, The closing date is Wednesday next, and the first round will commence the following Wednesday, all entrants being notified of the draw. Fourteen entries have been so far received, including players from Hikurangi. Kaikohe, Whangarei and Kamo.
A silver cup, presented by Billiards Limited, has been presented for annual competition. The winner of this year’s tourney will hold the trophy for 12 months. A miniature goes with it. Both cup and, miniature are on view in the window of McKenzies Ltd., Cameron Street.
