(Received 10 a.m.i NEW YORK, June 23. A telegram from Warren, Ohio, states that the Committee for Industrial Organisation called a labour holiday, as a protest against the court’s injunction limiting pickets to 12 and forbidding arming and interference with the operations at steel mills. Six thousand men and women consequently walked out of 17 plants.
A political twist was given to the situation when Mr. G. H. Earle, Governor of Pennsylvania, who has been mentioned as Democrat nominee for the Presidency, made a statement today advocating a third term for Mr. Roosevelt.
