National Party Branch At Maunu
A well attended meeting of settlers was held in the Maunu hall last night to form a branch of the New Zealand National Political Party. Mr. J. Clarke presided and there were fifty present. After addresses were given by representatives of the Whangarei executive, it was decided to form a branch of the Party and a joint committee of ladies and gentlemen was elected as follows: — Mr. J. Clarke (chairman), Mr. P. H. Bourke (secretary), Mesdames H. Snell, G. Hawken, N. C. Millington and Messrs. G. Hawken, H. Hawken, L. Garry and A. Matthews.
