BANK OFFICERS’ GUILD CONFERENCE

The report presented at the annual conference of the New Zealand Bank Officers’ Guild yesterday showed that there was a membership of 3,019, being 91 per cent, of the staffs of the trading banks. The accumulated funds amounted to £4,639 and the investment society membership exceeded 1,850.
Approximately the same number had enrolled in the group assurance scheme. In the six years of its existence, the value of the life insurance policies brought into the group scheme exceeded £1,300,000. Premiums collected had reached £32,600 a year. President Mr E. G.
