Mangonui
A dance in aid of the Mangonui School Wireless Fund, was held in McKay’s Hall on Wednesday night. Mr H. Smith was M.C. and excellent music was provided by the “Rhythm Vendors,” assisted by Mrs H. Anderson, Mrs W. Subritzky. Mrs H. H. Smith and Miss M. Wrathall. A buffet supper was served. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Peggy Henry and Mr Jack Smith. Mr B. S. Darnell and Miss Mavis Darnell have been spending a week in Auckland.
Mr E. Brennan, of Kaiwaka, spent the week-end in Mangonui.
