High Price For Flock Ewes

The highest price for flock ewes in Canterbury for some years was paid yesterday when 2-tooth Corriedales, sold on account of Messrs Cochrane Bros., realised 52/6. The ewes were a particularly good line, being big-framed and covered with dense wool. They were part of a flock of 781, which averaged considerably over £2 a head.
