NIGHT BOWLING
A full complement of Handlers graced the sward on the Whangarei Bowling Club’s greens last evening, when a pairs tourney was conducted under electric light. Two visiting pails Horn Maungaturoto and a similar number from Kensington were amongst the visitors. The first round was of 21 heads and from then’ on the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final were each, of five heads. The winning pair were A. Beaton and M. Whitelaw, who defeated D. McLeod and T. H. Stewart in the final.
