“NEEDLE” FINISH TO ORAWAU CRICKET MATCH
During the week-end the Orawau Cricket Club played Omahuta on their home ground. Omahuta left Orawau 55 minutes to compile 100 runs to win. By a valiant effort 92 were notched before the last wicket fell with two minutes to go, Omahuta winning in a “needle” finish.
