GREYMOUTH TROTS. [Per Press Association. Copyright.] GREYMOUTH, This Day. Rain has caused the Greymouth Trots to be postponed until today and tomorrow. The Reefton meeting has also been postponed until Friday and Saturday. CHAMPION TENNIS. [Special to “Northern Advocate.”l TIMARU. This Day. Heavy rain set in at 1 o’clock at Timaru, and the New Zealand lawn tennis championships had to be postponed yesterday until today. It continued raining solidly until 7 o’lock last night, and there is little likelihood of matches taking place this morning. The only two matches played yesterday were the semi-finals of the combined doubles.
