POPE HAS RESTFUL NIGHT

VATICAN CITY. December 9.
Pope Pius XL, who has been reported seriously ill with uraemia, had a restful night. Professor Milan! examined him again today, and stated that he was satisfied with His Holiness’ progress.
Professor Milani, after a long examination, said he was satisfied the Pope was out of immediate danger. A late message says the Pope’s condition is much improved, and it is expected that he will leave his bed tomorrow.
