Takapau. between Ruatoria and Te. Pula Springs yesterday morning, Mr M. Barber, a Waiapu County Council employee, was struck on the side by a large falling rock. He lost his hold of the rope and fell 30 feet to the broken rocks below. The injured man was taken to Te Puia Hospital suffering from scalp wounds, concussion and shock. — (P.A.)
