N.Z. CABINET MEETS AGAIN; CRISIS NOT DISCUSSED
[Per Press Association. Copyright.'] WELLINGTON. This Day.
The Cabinet held another long meeting yesterday, but the constitutional crisis was only mentioned, not discussed. The day was given to normal administrative business. After the Cabinet rose late in the afternoon, the Prime Minister, Mr Savage, said the latest message from the British Government could be described best and almost literally as saying there was nothing further to report about the situation. Meanwhile, members of the Cabinet would not be called upon to sit and wait for developments. If the position changed, the Cabinet, of course, would meet at once. The Government had been led to expect that there would be a definite development today, but that expectation had not been realised.
