GOLD AND SILVER QUOTATIONS
(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, December 7. Fine gold is quoted today at £7 2/1 an ounce, compared with £7 1/111 on Saturday. Silver is quoted at 21 5-16 d spot and forward, compared with 21 3-16 d. both positions, yesterday. The quotation for silver at per fine ounce is 23d, compared with 22 7-8 d yesterday.
