Under the will of the late Mrs Janet Tilburn, of St. Clair, which is sworn at £50,000, the residue, after private bequests have been is to be > given in six equal parts to the local Salvation Army maternity hospital, the Presbyterian Church, the trustee of the Sir Arthur Pearson Memorial fund, to be applied by them in association with the Jubilee Institute for the Blind in putting the blind in .useful occupations, the Dunedin branch of the Plunket Society, the Presbyterian Social Service Association for the Glendining Home, and the same association for the Ross Home.
