SETTLED OUT OF COURT
CONTRACTORS' CLAIM AGAINST
FORD MOTOR CO.

An announcement that a settlement had been reached was made by counsel in a Supreme Court case in which P. Graham and Son, Ltd., contractors,of Christchurch, claimed damages from the Ford Motor. Company of New Zealand Ltd., for alleged wrongful termination of contract.
Mr. James, for the Ford Company, said he was glad to inform the Court that since the adjournment of the case the plaintiff company had ’approached them with a view to obtaining a settlement, and ho difficulty had been found in arriving at one mutually satisfactory. . ..
Mr. Hay, for plaintiffs, agreed that they had obtained a fair and reasonable settlement of the claim, and wished to withdraw unreservedly all statements and imputations that had been made against the-Ford Company of New Zealand in connection with the dispute, the settlement of which had been conducted in an entirely friendly manner.
