MORTGAGE ADJUSTMENT
PERSONNEL OF NORTH ISLAND COMMISSIONERS

The appointment of 14 adjustment commissions by the Governor-General, under Section 24 of the Mortgagors and Lessees’ Rehabilitation Act, 1936, is announced by the Prime Minister, Mr Savage. At any sitting of the commission two members will form a quorum. The commissions for the North Island are:— Auckland district. —Mr . William Joshua Gattenby, Auckland (chairman), Mr Maxwell Aldred, Waiuku, and Mr John Sommerville Montgomerie, Auckland.
Auckland city.—Mr Arthur Morice Goulding, Auckland (chairman); Messrs Charles Frederick Bennett and William Wallace (Auckland). North Auckland.—Mr William Robert Tuck, Auckland (chairman), Mr James Neil McCarroll, Whangarei, and Mr William Grounds, Hokianga. Gisborne. —Mr Frederick Robert Ball, Gisborne (chairman), Mr John Henry Reid, Opotiki, and Mr Angus Alexander Fraser, Te Karaka. Hawke’s Bay.—Mr Martin Greenwood, Hastings (chairman), Mr Owen Grainger, Maharara, and* Mr Ronald Hugh White, Otane.
Taranaki. —Mr Edgar Herries Young, Stratford (chairman), Mr Charles Dunsbee Dickie, Hawera. and Mr Francis Romayne, Ohura.
Wellington district. —Mr George Herbert Harper, Te Horo (chairman). Mr Kenneth Waring Dalrymple, Bulls, and Mr William Rankin Birnie, Palmerston North.
Wellington city.—Mr Ernest William Abraham Kellow (chairman). and Messrs Douglas James Dalgleish and John Frederick Turnbull.
