Cream Lilies
3 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup flour i teaspoon baking powder. Drop in spoonfuls on greased paper. Roll quickly while hot, fill with whipped cream, and put q little jelly on top. (Sent in by Vera Mason). Sago Pudding. Soak 1 in U cups of milk overnight. Add—--1 cup raisins 1 cup breadcrumbs 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoon bicarbonate soda Piece butter size of an egg Mix together and steam for three hours. (Sent in by May Muldrock). School Lunch Biscuits. 2\ cups oatmeal 2\ cups flour 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda 1 cup brown sugar |lb. butter h cup water Cream butter and sugar, add water in which soda has been dissolved, then oatmeal and flour mixed. Knead with hands, roll out thin, cut into circles and bake light brown in moderate oven. (Sent in by Nellie Harnett).
