A Bloy, Takahiwai- —The date of judging for Takahiwai Native School has not yet been decided, but will be published in the “Northern Advocate” as soon as it is known.

Mary Erceg, Mata.—lnvariably- young calves will shiver after a meal. Do not worry. We do not know the reason, but will ask Mr Hankin.

Desmond the lice use Lysol in the proportion of one part in 50 to one part in 100. For ringworm stir 2oz of flowers of sulphur into a pint of used engine oil and brush on the patches every few days.

Jean Biggar.—Judging at your school has been postponed until Monday at 11 a.m. You must persevere, Jean, and try to follow the advice given by Mr Morrison, How about Romeo as a nanie for your pet pig? Certainly you are allowed to do the competitions. Ever so sorry to learn that you’ve lost your badge.

Violet Erceg. —Calves frequently become excited when in strange places, Violet. There’s nothing to worry about. Yes, your name should have been in the list, and you should have received your Merit Card by the time this answer appears.

William Lamont. —Many thanks for your good wishes, William. I’m sorry Bonny is not at her best, and I hope she picks up in time for the parade.

Connie Rata,—l’rn very glad Dicksey is so well. Good luck in the competitions. As you will see in the answer to Mr Bloy, your parade has been postponed.

Rita Neale. —You certainly wrote a newsy letter, Rita, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Your calf is a real pet, isn’t she. I hope she does well at the parades. Cheerio.
