WEST ETHIOPIA GOVERNMENT MYTH EXPLODED

The Rome correspondent of “The Times” says it is hoped that the capture of Gore has dealt the death-blow to the myth of a Western Ethiopian Government. Moreover, as the Italian troops were not resisted but warmly received, the political situation arising from Haile Selassie’s claim at Geneva has been terminated.
The Italians expect to occupy Gambela, 100 miles to the west of Gore.
