BOOTMAKER TO CLAIM ZAHAROFF FORTUNE

The Paris correspondent of the British United Press says the fortune of the late Sir Basil Zaharoff is variously estimated at between £10,000,000 and £30,000,000. The members of the Hyran’s family -state that their father possesses docuT merits proving the marriage in Russia, anc( his own birth 67 years ago. The mystery which has surrounded the late Sir Basil Zaharoff has continued to the grave. The motor hearse bearing the body arrived at his country seat, Balincourt, from Monte Carlo shortly after midnight, when the gates were closed and the grounds guarded . by armed keepers and police. A large number of journalists and photographers were refused admission. Finally, one journalist with a wreath was admitted, but after the burial had taken place.
