WOOL IS WANTED RIGHT AWAY

IMMEDIATE SHIPMENTS ARRANGED

t£pectal to "Northern Advocate .”l AUCKLAND, This Day.

An unsual feature resulting from Saturday’s wool sale is the celerity with which the offerings are being dispatched to their destinations. The bidding at the sale showed definitely that the world wants wool, and the buyers’ instructions show that it is wanted now.

Tomorrow night the Port Wyndham bound for London, will lift the first quota. The Mataroa on Friday will take the next lot, and, in quick succession, will go cargoes by the Pakeha and Port Bowen for London, the great clearing house for the world’s wool. The Blue Star Line motorship N.Z, Star is also taking a shipment of wool when she sails on Saturday afternoon for London.

It was believed on Saturday that orders for Japan were the mainstay of the strong market, and this appears to be confirmed by the fact that a very heavy loading is to be made by the Sydney Maru, due to leave for Japan on December 9. The Kaifuku Maru, leaving later, will also carry wool.
