MARUA

The many friends of Mr and Mrs C. Fyfe met in the Marua Hall on Saturday evening, to bis them good-bye before their departure to take up residence in Moerewa. The,evening was spent in dancing, excellent music being supplied by Mr H. Wilson. Mr I. Neale capably carried out the duties of M.C. Mr L. Billington, on behalf of those present, asked Mr and Mrs C. Fyfe to accept a chiming clock as a memento from their Marua friends. Mr Fyfe very ably expressed his appreciation. Both Mr and Mrs Fyfe will be greatly missed in this district, as they have always proved themselves ready workers in all social events.
