PARLIAMENT EMBARRASSED

(Received 10.30 a.m.)

LONDON, October 30. An amusing error marked the prorogation of Parliament. The Speaker and the rest of members of the House of Commons, after a moment’s hesitation and embarrassment, bowed and began to withdraw, when the Earl realised his mistake, and called them bacck. He then went through the correct procedure.
