THE CORONATION
NEW ZEALANDER’S MESSAGE |
[Per Press Association . Copyright .] WELLINGTON, This Day. In the House of Representatives this morning, Mr Savage said that as the House would not be in session at the time of the Coronation, he thought it proper that a fitting mess-: age should be sent to the King, through the Governor-General. He moved that the following message be submitted to the King, and this was agreed to: “That a respectful address in the following words be presented to His Majesty the King: “To the King’s most excellent Majesty: Most gracious Sovereign, we. Your Majesty’s most dutiful and loyal subjects. Legislative and House of Representatives of New Zealand, in Parliament assembled, humbly desire to convey to Your Majesty our respectful congratulations upon Your Majesty’s Coronation, and to • express the hope that Your Majesty’s reign may be a long and happy one.”
