f Special to "Northern Advocate*”! AUCKLAND, This Day. The committee of inquiry, consisting of Messrs P. M. Butler (chairman), J. Walker, and H. B. Smith, which is investigating the taxicab and town carriers, business, will open a sitting in the couhcil chamber at the Town Hall on Monday morning. Tne committee sat in camera tqday to consider evidence already placed before it. The secretary of the committee is Mr Al. Lynsky. 'the chairman said this morning that the committee desired to conclude the Auckland sitting as early . as possible, and the next sitting would be held in Whangarei.
