KAIKOHE
Manj' of Kaikohe’s male populace especially the younger generation, attended the funeral of Mr Allan Baird, aged 22, which was held on Thursday afternoon. Mr Eaird, who has been ill for a considerable period, passed away in Whangarei on Tuesday morning. The Rev. J. C. Fussell, of Waimate North, conducted a beautiful service in St. Stephen’s Church, Kaikohe, before the funeral left for the Kaikohe cemetery, wnere the in-' ferment took place.* Sincere sympathy gees out to Mrs Baird in her loss of ■ the youngest member of her family* 1 and her only son.
