SPECTACULAR BOXING CARNIVAL
MONDAY NIGHT’S BIG AFFAIR
There is no shadow of doubt about the fact that the monster boxing tournament in the Town Hall on Monday night is going to be a brilliant success. With such a splendid programme as that being staged by the local association as a feature of gymkhana weekend, it is a certainty that the Town Hall will be packed to the doors.. The tournament, with its star professional bout of ten three-minute rounds between Neville Mudgway and A 1 Stock, two of the foremost welterweights in the Dominion today, the ten one-min-ute round tussles between Maori and Pakeha fighters, and the eight amateur preliminaries, is the talk of the town. It is certainly a feast of all the choice things the ring has to offer—clever boxing, rugged fighting and that necessary adjunct, spectacular action. Book your seats at Laurie’s, and so save inconvenience,.
