North Broken Hill, Ltd., Melbourne, earned a net profit for the year ended June 30 of £636,940, compared with £390,683 in the previous year. Dividends of 15/6 a share absorbed £524,000. GOLD AND SILVER QUOTATIONS (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, October 21. Fine gold is quoted today at £7 2/li an ounce, compared with £7 2/3 yesterday.
