CONSTABLE’S EXTRAORDINARY DEATH

At the inquest into the death of Constable Ernest George Sutherland, who was killed in fall from a bicycle on medical evidence showed that the constable suffered a dislocated neck.. The coroner, in returning a verdict that death was due to a fall from a bicycle, described it as a very extraordinary case.
