To clean a burned enamel dish, fill it with cold water, add a large tablespoon of salt, and allow it to stand for an hour or so.
If you add a small piece of lard to the starch when pouring the boiling -
water in, you will find you have no trouble with the iron sticking, and the linen will have a finer gloss.
