There was a very large attendance and the track was in excellent order. Results:— Longbeach Handicap, of 100 sovs; one mile and a half.—(7-12) Guy Hugo, 48yds, 1; (8-4) Great Linnet, scr, 2; (2-3) Lord Ernleigh, scr, 3. All started. Three lengths; two lengths. Time —3.28 1-5.
Trial Handicap, of 100 sovs; one mile and a half. —(1-1) Renown’s Best; scr, 1; (3-4) Fine Art, scr, 2; (8-12) Reymerfe, scr, 3. Royal Doulton was scratched. Four lengths; three lengths. Time—3.23.
County Handicap, of 320 sovs; two miles. —(2-2) Cloudy Rdnge, 60yds, 1; (1-1) De Soto, scr, 2; (7-6) Peter Locanda, scr, 3. A l f. started. Three lengths each way. Time—4.2l 1-5.
